International and Intercultural Research Travel Grant Application
International and Intercultural Research Travel Grants help faculty support students who are presenting about international or intercultural work at conferences in the US or abroad. Grants are up to $2,000 per student (maximum 2 students per faculty applicant per calendar year). Applications are accepted on rolling basis.
Applicants must be faculty or staff in the John Martinson Honors College teaching a scholarly project course or independent research study. Students must in good standing with the JMHC. The subject of the research must demonstrate clear links to international or intercultural themes. Only applications for which students incur costs associated with passports, visas, airfare, lodging, meals and registration fees will be considered.
Please note
that grants are not received/issued retroactively, that is, one cannot apply for a grant for activity that took place in the past.
Within 2 weeks of return from the conference, students are expected to deposit an electronic copy of the poster or paper with Sara Hong at hong399@purdue.edu for inclusion in the International and Intercultural Research digital archive of the JMHC.
Should you have any questions about this or any of the JMHC’s other Global Enrichment Grants, please contact Sara Hong at hong399@purdue.edu.
